She ran anyway.
THEY TOLD WOMEN THEY COULDN’T RUN.

Technical clothing was never made for women, and almost never by women. Sport wasn’t either.

In 1967, a race official tried to drag Kathrine Switzer off the Boston Marathon course for entering a race that wasn’t meant for her. Women were only officially admitted in 1972. The Olympic marathon waited until 1984.

Women ran anyway. The industry followed the way it always has: late, and halfway. Take the men’s product. Shrink it. Pink it. Call it a women’s collection.

Women have been breaking the rules of sport for generations.
Their clothing should catch up.

OUR VALUE

NOT A WOMEN’S DEPARTMENT.
A DIFFERENT STARTING POINT.

Most brands treat women’s sport as a line extension: a smaller size run, a new colour, a women’s lab bolted onto a men’s one. HASTKO starts from the other end.

Women’s bodies are the brief, not the adjustment. Innovation, support and construction are decided with women, tested by women and corrected by women, from the first sketch to the final seam.

We don’t design around assumptions. We design with women.
If women are expected to perform in it, women should have a say in how it’s made.

OUR INNOVATION

WEAR THE BRAND THAT’S BUILDING IT.

The technology is in the details, and every detail has a woman, a need and a decision behind it. You told us what was wrong. We changed the product.
No chafing. No excuses.

Support, engineered.
Adaptation, not compromise.

This isn’t a feature list written in a meeting. It’s the community’s argument, built into the garment. Wearing HASTKO is joining that argument: technical clothing should adapt to women, not the other way around.
