Choosing a sports bra: more important than you think
Because there's no such thing as a standard body shape or universal body shape, finding THE right bra can quickly become a real headache. A back that's too loose, a cup that's too tight, straps that slip, or excessive compression... A poorly chosen or ill-fitting bra can ruin a workout and cause real discomfort.
At HÄSTKO, we've designed three technical models, designed to adapt to every need and, above all, to give you the choice. They're designed to suit a wide range of body types, all levels of intensity, and all sports.
Our mission: to help every woman find the bra that truly fits her. To help you, we've prepared a detailed comparison guide of our three styles:
Why is choosing the right bra crucial?
The role of a sports bra isn't limited to its design or style. It must be ultra-comfortable, effectively protect the chest, prevent microtrauma, avoid pain, and allow optimal freedom of movement.
💡 Did you know?
A scientific study has shown that a woman's breasts can move up to 14 cm up and down with each movement during exercise. Even small breasts are also affected by these impacts. Therefore, inadequate support not only affects comfort but also athletic performance.
Which bra model should you choose depending on your practice?

— Claudine C.
What size sports bra should I choose?
Unlike a simple sports top, a sports bra is chosen with precision , based on several criteria:
- Your usual bra size
- Your bust measurement (under the bust)
- Your chest measurement (at the fullest part)
- Your height (example: 1m70)
- Your overall body shape (long or short torso, broad shoulders, rib cage, etc.)
How to check if your bra fits properly?
Here are the essential checkpoints to carry out once the bra is put on:
Compression and support
— It should be tight without compressing.
— The fabric should neither pull nor warp.
Back turn position
— It must stay in place, without riding up.
— Too high = too big; marks = too tight.
Cup and chest
— No overflow or creases in the fabric.
Straps and armpits
— Straps adjusted without cutting.
— Under the armpits: neither too high nor bothersome.
Moving
— When jumping or running, it must stay in place.
— If you forget it, it's because it's perfect!
In summary, the 5 keys to a well-chosen bra
1/ The right level of support , depending on your practice
2/ A precise adjustment , adapted to your body shape
3/ Technical and breathable materials
4/ A cut that accompanies the movement
5/ Unbelievable and lasting comfort
